To use this application from your iPhone, just go to www.theladders.com/iphone from the browser on your mobile device. (Please note that since this is an application built specifically for the iPhone, this link is only supported in the iPhone browser itself.)This iPhone-friendly web app makes it easy for you to turn downtime at the airport into productive time for finding your next great $100K+ job. With your Premium subscription, you can search, view and save the jobs you’d like to research more closely and apply to for later. Since you’ll want to be well prepared and include a well thought-out cover letter, you’ll probably want to wait until you get to your desktop to make sure you put your best foot forward. How many of us have hastily jotted off an email from our mobile, only to find later that it was riddled with errors? That’s why this application is just for browsing jobs and saving the good stuff for later.
We’re very proud to be able to bring you exciting, cool new tools like this! While of course, day in and day out, our main focus is improving our core website functionality and features, TheLadders Labs and side projects like this allow us to respond to customer demand for emerging technology. After all, as a young online start-up, our developers and thinkers want to create cool and, most importantly, useful tools to make your life easier.
This web app was the result of a friendly competition we had here: form a team of three, build the best iPhone web app, and win an iPhone. The winning team, who named themselves “The Winning Team” (how's that for subliminal suggestion?) included Gustavo Medina, Simon Zhang and Joanne Chan. Here’s a photo of the triumphant trio:
