Accounting & Reporting Manager

This opportunity requires a professional with strong analytic and technical skills. The Director wants to see a strong educational background and performance plus a public / private mix experience in the 7 to 10 year range. An MBA or MS is desired, CPA or eligibility to become certified is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Manage period end reporting plus respond to ad-hoc analysis / reporting requests.


• Lead financial analysis projects.


• Responsible for compliance and controls enhancements / reviews.


• Review financial statements and work with auditors.

• Responsible for process improvement and support of system projects.


• Provide technical mentorship to your team.

Requirements:

• A business advanced degree is strongly preferred.


• CPA or eligible for certification is required. 


• 7 to 10 years of experience with complex accounting / financial reporting.


• 3 plus years of staff leadership is required.


• Demonstrated GAAP expertise required, Big-4 experience preferred.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.


• Documented success in project management responsibilities.


• Comfortable interfacing with senior financial and business operations management.


• A financial service profile is required.
