Our client is a thriving wholesale distributor located south of Boston. Due to growth, they are looking to hire an Assistant Vice President of Credit and Collections. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following:
• The overall growth and development of a staff of over 20 people.
• Assist the Senior Vice President of Administrative Operations in developing short and long term goals for department and individual employee’s.
• Assist in the design and implementation of corporate credit policies.
• Monitor and report on the company’s credit exposure and accounts receivable portfolio.
• Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of existing and emerging technologies to create an infrastructure that meets the current and future needs of the company.
• Continuously analyze portfolio in terms of the credit risk.
• Complete special project assignments required by senior management.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
• BS Degree is required.
• Steady work history with a proven track record of success is required. No job hoppers!
• A wholesale distribution or manufacturing background is strongly preferred.
