Commercial Device Manager In this role you will be responsible for the development and successful execution of the regional financial plan and integrated marketing plan for one product family of devices, a subset of Hospiras greater infusion system portfolio. Key responsibilities include product lifecycle management, new product launches and customer relationships. You will also be responsible for developing pricing strategies, branding initiatives and integrated communication plans.

Additional responsibilities include:


  • Provide on-market product management lifecycle management for assigned brand and manages ongoing customer relationships.

  • Plan, update and monitor achievement of all demand forecasting, inventory management and key dashboard reporting related to brand.

  • Manage new product launches.

  • Manage demand generation programs, customer messaging, sales force messaging utilizing tactical marketing and other resources as required.

  • Manage commercial responsibilities with regard to customer issues & product recalls.

  • Provide input to global marketing to support global strategy development and product development needs.

    To be successful in this position, you must possess:




    • 4 year degree required, MBA preferred coupled with three to five years of successful experience and/or direct interaction with sales and marketing organization in an electronic medical device field.

    • Ability to understand and interpret market data, financial data, customer needs, clinical environment, and 3rd party organizations impacting hospitals.

    • Product launch experience.

    • Able to work effectively in a Matrix environment to assure achievement of objectives.

    • Highly self-directed with very high level of personal commitment.

    • Strong critical thinking skills.

    • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced high visibility environment.

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical and clinical data in an effective manner.

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.

    • Ability to create and monitor a consistent pricing strategy.

    • MS Office proficient.
