Senior Tax Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain the highest level of ethical and professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

Possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Supervise, train and mentor associates while providing ongoing constructive feedback.

Review tax returns prepared by staff for accuracy and efficiency while increasing responsibility in the review process.

Prepare complex partnership and high net worth individual tax returns.

Research and consult on various domestic and foreign tax matters.

Participate in recruiting efforts; professional development; and other job-related duties as necessary.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:         

Real estate fund accounting experience.

Experience with tax-based research software such as Westlaw, CCH, and BNA.      

Experience with Pro Systems or similar tax compliance software.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (strong emphasis on Excel).

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  CPA preferred.

Two to four years of progressive tax compliance and consulting experience.

Previous tax return review experience displaying ability to supervise staff and lead projects
