Tax Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review foreign income tax provisions for consistency with US GAAP.




• Assist in rolling foreign income tax provisions into the global provision.




• Review tax and financial data for 5471 preparation.




• Maintain international transfer pricing documentation and lead overall transfer pricing activities.




• Research international tax issues and document conclusions.




• Develop and implement International Tax Planning strategies.




• Research and Manage tax advantaged financing strategies and debt placement




• Develop and implement foreign tax credit optimization strategies.




• Liaise with other departments and companies as required




• Ability to complete thorough research of international laws, regulations and standards.

• Ability to facilitate expert opinions when needed from both internal and external resources.

Position Requirements:

• Understands taxation principles and practices




• Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices




• Detailed knowledge of FAS 109 and Fin 48




• Working knowledge of international transfer pricing requirements.




• Knowledge of internal control documentation requirements for tax processes under Sarbanes-Oxley




• Accounting Degree




• CPA/MST Preferred




• 5 – 7  years of tax experience




• International finance and tax experience preferred.




• Excellent written and oral communication skills
