Tax Manager

E&P client in Downtown Houston is looking for a Tax Manager. 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

• 5 to 10 years experience in tax compliance & accounting with an emphasis primarily in

oil and gas taxation.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of state income tax rules for Texas, Louisiana and California is preferred.

• Must have experience in the area of sales & use tax planning & compliance.

• Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software and personal computing

equipment.

• Familiarity with Corptax, Excalibur & Hyperion software systems preferred

• Must have experience in researching tax issues.

• Ability to develop and maintain effective departmental and inter-office relations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and

follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.

• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
