Junior Hedge Fund Accountant (GSO Finance)

Job Description:

• Weekly hedge fund AUM rolls


• Assist in maintaining Hedge Fund’s books and records for monthly NAVs


• Calculating Investor Redemptions


• Assist in reconciling Hedge Fund’s records to Administrator’s records (monthly NAVs, register of investors, and investor statements)


• Assist in SOX compliance requirements and quarter end reporting for 10Q and 10K


• Assist in quarterly reviews, the year end audit, and drafting of financial statements


• Preparing schedules for Investor relation requests

Qualifications:

• At least a BS in Accounting


• CPA would be a benefit


• 2-4 years of experience in either public or at a hedge fund/private equity (financial service industry)


• Extremely strong Microsoft excel skill (Ex. vlookup/pivot tables)


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Ability to meet deadlines on a timely basis


• Quick learner including software systems
