JOB DESCRIPTION

Dynamic and fast paced broker-dealer is seeking an Accounting Manager for their team. This is a newly created position. Responsibilities include:

Supervise daily workflow of 2 accountants.

Assist with preparation/review of monthly financial statement analysis and related notes to financial statements.

Preparation/Review of intercompany transactions and intercompany statements of account.

Document and implement controls and procedures.

Respond to requests from regulators and external auditors.

Looking for individuals that are intellectually curious and hard working.Must be highly organized and a strong analytical thinker. Supervisory experience is required. Prior experience in a highly automated environment is a plus. Prior financial service industry experience is not required.
