Our client is a leading Global Commodities Trading house rapidly growing there Risk / Quant Risk functions ..They are currently looking for someone with a strong Nat Gas Quant background Job description :
We are currently looking for someone who understands the complex side of the Nat Gas trades and is able to work on short time lines. You MUST have a good knowledge of the Nat Gas min 3-5 sitting in a quant/ risk group review the complex trades as well as being able to communicate the finds to the manager / traders and head of risk. This is a hands on role working on the trade floor directly dealing with the trades.. Who we are looking for :
Desired: A Masters or Doctorate in above disciplines and knowledge of financial or commodity trading environment and developing complex models is desirable. Mathematics, statistics, physics or finance or equivalent experience is essential as well as possessing a high level of statistical, mathematical financial, and engineering techniques and the ability to apply to a range of diverse problems and issues.Exceptional programming skill in Matlab, VBA, and C++. Experience in modeling generation and consumption products with Weather Delta software is also highly desirable. Whats on offer :
