JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced and energetic finance professional for the role of Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions to assist in the due diligence, integration and recording of acquisitions and strategic investments. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience, responsibility and exposure to functions outside of finance.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong finance and accounting background with M&A due diligence and integration experience in public accounting as well as private industry. A well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast paced, demanding environment. The willingness to dig deep into details as well as the ability to assess the big picture are key attributes we are seeking for this role.

Responsibilities:


• Identify, coordinate and resolve financial integration issues.
• Performing and reporting on financial due diligence on targets for strategic investments and acquisitions.
• Gathering, researching and processing data to determine purchase accounting.
• Determine guidance for internal staff on deal structure and ramifications of terms.
• Creating journal entries and determining consolidation structure.
• Perform and report on periodic impairment testing.
• Drafting of white papers to describe all aspects of executed transactions.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA (or equivalent qualifications).
• 5-7 years experience in public accounting and/or private industry.
• Strong computer skills, including expert level proficiency in Excel.
• The ability to plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner.
• Must have the ability to multi-task on varying projects and initiatives.
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvements.
