The Client Relationship Officer will join the Corporate Systems Team, and will have overall responsibility for representing the needs of his or her client areas, which may include the following units: Financial Operations, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Risk Management and Treasury. The Client Relationship Officer will provide strategic insight, facilitation, and coordination to address business problems typically through IT initiatives. An essential component is mobilizing CBI's resources for effective and timely delivery of IT solutions and services.Duties and accountabilities: Serving as the primary contact between the assigned client group and CBI. Cultivating and managing relationships with staff at different levels in the assigned client groups gaining credibility as a trusted advisor on IT issues through proactive engagement with the clients." Gaining and maintaining in-depth understanding of the clients' business, processes and operating environment." Serving as client advocate in CBI to ensure the clients' IT support goals and objectives are met by CBI." Strategically guiding clients in the use of IT solutions to improve their capability, productivity and effectiveness in the delivery of products and services, globally." Leveraging knowledge of the clients' business and processes and CBI's capabilities to improve the use of existing tools and services and, when needed, conceptualizing and initiating innovative solutions to emerging business problems." Working with the assigned client groups and in collaboration with other CBI teams to develop business requirements for proposed IT solutions and taking the lead in early stage project initiation/approval including the processing of the project concept papers (or equivalent project initiation documents) for IT projects." Who we are looking for :
" Masters degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance or related field with at least six years of relevant experience." A good understanding of the business operations of one or more of the following areas:" Financial Operations" Accounting and Accounting Standards" Financial Reporting" Risk Management (Business, Operational, Market)" Treasury Operations" Experience identifying and mobilizing technology solutions to support business objectives and deliver process improvements." Proven conceptual, analytical, and evaluative skills; and ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identify issues, formulate options, and make conclusions and recommendations." Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships combined with strong customer/client service orientation." Excellent facilitation and coordination skills and ability to lead group meetings." Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills." Ability to operate under pressure with accuracy and professionalism" Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding work environment." Attention to detail in understanding requirements and resolving issues" Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills." Experience with a major consulting firm would be highly relevant to this position.
