Reports to: VP, Finance

Location: Bedminster, New Jersey

Compensation range: $95k - $105k base + bonus

Responsibilities: This position will report to the VP of Finance/ Controller and requires a detailed understanding of generally accepted accounting and statutory accounting.

• Position will provide technical accounting research and support for acquisitions, joint ventures and other business combinations. 
• Assists with journal entries, consolidations, month-end close cycles, and equity accounting. 
• Assist with annual audit coordination or support.
• This position requires a proactive, highly motivates individual who can work independently to deliver accurate results.
• Requires excellent Excel skills for modeling or analyzing large quantities of data.
• Participation in the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance efforts.
• Staying abreast of emerging accounting issues that may impact the Company’s reporting obligations on U.S. GAAP and statutory basis.
• Assist with implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Projects may involve assisting with interdepartmental initiatives, budgeting, variance reporting and ad-hoc project teams.

Qualifications 

• BS in Accounting or Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting
• Requires 3+  years of public accounting experience minimum.  CPA licensure required.  Public accounting experience should be recent, within last 3 years.
• Ideal candidate will have a good mix of public accounting and corporate accounting experience.
• Experience with the development, documentation and testing of financial and operations controls.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
• Experience with international operations and consolidations.
• Knowledge of federal and state income tax accounting compliance.
• Experience with Great Plains accounting system and/or FRX reporting tool a plus
