Cutting edge publications and media company located in New York is seeking a Manager of Accounting to add to their dynamic team.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Complete all phases of the accounting cycle
2. Control the financial books and processes to ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately
3. Manage the requirements of annual audit and quarterly reviews.
4. Supervise staff
5. Manage the process of producing journal entries in the general ledger.
6. Perform research and analysis required to determine the best procedures and means of documenting the information.
7. Manage the quarterly consolidations using Hyperion Enterprise..
8. Participate in miscellaneous projects as assigned by Director or General Manager of accounting department.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 
- Minimum of 10 years accounting experience. 
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
- CPA required.
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory and management experience.
