Leading consulting firm is seeking to add senior and manager level talent to its consulting team which focuses on financial performance improvement for clients within the financial services sector.
The finance performance improvement practice is involved in all areas of process assessment and improvement within the finance function and CFO office. This includes assessing and making recommendations for improvement in finance function strategy, finance organization and design, finance operational and finance systems effectiveness, and management information and decision support. Specifics include applying best practices and process and alignment strategies, operating model design, streamlining of budget/forecast and close cycles, optimization of ERP/general ledger systems and financial reporting solutions, and management reporting and decision support capabilities.
At the senior consultant level, candidates should have a minimum of 4/6 years relevant experience from either another consulting firm or an internal group charged with similar responsibilities. For manager-level roles, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years experience, some of which with another consulting firm. Financial services industry experience is necessary, with some exposure to the asset management or capital markets sector a plus(products, processes, etc.). Must have strong communication and analytical skills and be able to gain the confidence of and influence clients. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.
