Leading consulting firm is seeking to add senior and manager level talent to its consulting team which focuses on operations improvement for clients within the financial services sector.
The operations improvement practice is involved in all areas of process improvement, organizational alignment, business integration and strategic cost management. Specifics include assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of clients’ business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement, including reduction of cycle times, standardization of practices. re-engineering workflows, improving service quality and rationalization of organization structure changes. Will also be involved in complex projects surrounding clients’ abilities to combine business operations due to mergers or acquisitions, with an eye on cost reduction and increasing efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have 3/5 years (senior consultants) and 6/9 years (managers) with relevant experience in external consulting and/or an internal group charged with similar responsibilities. Financial services industry is necessary, with some exposure to the capital markets sector a plus(products, processes, etc.). Must have strong communication and analytical skills and be able to gain the confidence of and influence clients. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time.
