Director, Statutory Reporting

This position will be responsible for the preparation and completion and review of the Consolidated GAAP Financial Reporting Package, completion and review of each segment’s balance sheet and various other corporate reporting requirements. Responsible for the completion of the quarterly and annual statutory financial statements including all supplemental schedules. This position will be responsible for the coordination and completion of the independent accountant audits for each company; coordinate the completion of all financial information requests; and be responsible for the reporting of all reinsurance activities of the companies.

Requirements: A BS degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Five to seven plus years of insurance experience in statutory financial reporting environment writing pooled personal lines business are required. A CPA or MBA is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior-level management are required. Experience with SAP General Ledger or working in a Share Service Environment is a plus.
