Director of Excise Tax

Public company with a tenured management team.  Company looking to grow through acquisitions and grow revenue over $1 Billion.

About Position:

This newly created position will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and have regular interaction will all of Senior Management.

• Responsible for all multi-state excise and sales tax
• Work to stream and automate processes
• Coordinate and manage state and federal tax audits
• Maintain tax tables
• Understand license requirements per state
• Manage staff
• Help integrate acquired businesses
• Interact with sales, marketing and operations department

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Extensive Excise tax experience
• Strong MS Excel experience
• CPA a plus
• Knowledge of Great Plains a plus
• Prior experience with tax software
