Accounting Manager - Hedge Fund

Well established 40-person New York based quantitative hedge fund with 17 year track record looking for an experienced accounting professional to oversee the our financials and provide administrative services for our management company.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain financials of the general partner, investment manager, and the principals individual accounts.
• Manage treasury functions, AP, AR (management fee receipts), Payroll, Benefits, 401K administration,
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes
• Supply monthly financial statements of P&L including budget vs. actual reporting where applicable
• Analyze firm expenses and present regular reporting to management
• Maintain and file state net capital reports where applicable
• Coordination with public accountants for Tax and Audit filings

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience, CPA, Knowledge of Accounting and Tax, Quickbooks or similar program, Hedge Fund knowledge
