Business Restructuring Managing Director

Key Responsibilities:Expand and enhance the current business restructuring advisory practice in the western region. Work with other senior level restructuring professionals to expand and develop the west coast practice. Provide, in the context of bankruptcy and distressed situations, crisis management, turnaround consulting and strategic advice to company owners, management, lenders, creditors and investors. Responsibilities include achieving the firms revenue targets through marketing and business development activities, working directly on assignments and developing junior staff. Specific services offered to clients include CRO and/or interim CEO/COO/CFO, operational restructuring/improvement and financial restructuring both inside and outside of bankruptcy.Qualifications: BA with advanced degree in business a plus Certifications, such as CIRA and CTP, CPA are preferred Prior experience with companies with revenues of $100 million and up Must have a strong track record of successful implementation of aggressive turnaround actions, strong leadership capabilities and Chapter 11 experience Ability to close sales of consulting or turnaround engagements Strong personal network of referral sources, including financial institutions, private equity firms, hedge funds and law firms Prior service as an expert witness in insolvency or bankruptcy-related litigation is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills, as evidenced by published articles and/or presentations in significant venues Demonstrated ability to work effectively with peers in a large consulting organization Experience with recruiting, training and mentoring professionals Active participation and leadership roles within professional associations, such as: Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, Risk Management Association
