Accountable for developing Actuarial budgets, strategy development, goal setting and execution.
Lead Actuarial department staff in day to day responsibilities and accountabilities.
Recruit, train and manage professional and personal development plans.
Develop business leadership and skills of staff members.
Work with Senior Management to set priorities, develop and manage actuarial monitoring calendar.
Oversees development and maintenance of systems and models used to analyze, monitor and report profitability.
Lead, manage and control claims risk.

Provide Statutory & GAAP Reserving and support for Insurance products.
Strategic Actuarial lead for a specific or multiple LOB function.
Analyze experience, assess adequacy of loss reserves, project future loss experience for various insurance/reinsurance programs
Perform ad-hoc loss ratio and profitability reviews, including assessment of key drivers of loss.
Provide portfolio conversion support.
Support LOB new product sign-off process and work with LOB to peer review periodic repricing studies.
Lead a team in the completion of quarterly and annual STAT reporting including completion of certain exhibits and statement pages
Includes possible appointment as an Opining Actuary and/or oversight of an Opining Actuary role
