Newly Created Manager of Finance - Private Equity

Creative Financial Staffing has teamed up with a World Renowned Private Equity Firm to identify a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position that is open due to growth.

About The Company:
o Our client is one of the largest and most experienced growth capital firms in the country.
o Our client has a $10 billion capital base and just completed raising capital for their newest fund

About the Role:
- This position reports directly to the CFO and works hand in hand with the Fund Controller.
- Develop understand of legal, accounting and tax structure of the portfolio investments
- Assist with the closings of acquisitions and dispositions

- Coordinate quarterly valuation of investments under FAS 157
- Assist with capital calls and distributions
- Assist with fundraising as required

Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience with experience in both public accounting and industry (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Financial Services)
- CPA and MBA strongly preferred
- Partnership Accounting experience with familiarity in tax
