Fraud Investigations Associate Director

An opportunity currently exists for an articulate, goal-focused individual who, as Fraud Investigation Director, will be responsible for detecting, preventing, investigating and resolving suspected institutional and loan-level deception, as well as checking into fraud tips and preparing case files. Working with law enforcement personnel, as well as private investigators and will be an important part of this position.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Researching background information on internal and external databases


• Obtaining court documents with the assistance of external investigators


• Building cases regarding identified fraud, and presenting results to internal/external customers for closure


• Conducting seminars on fraud for personnel inside the organization and outside clients


• Traveling onsite to conduct interviews related to pending fraud cases

…is tenacious, thorough and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and high ethical standards. Minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field (or work/education equivalent)


• 6-8 years’ investigative and/or auditing experience


• A background in mortgage servicing and production


• Demonstrated public speaking abilities and excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills


• Availability for travel
