JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
• Critical success factors will include setting of aggressive yet achievable efficiency targets, exceptional rigor for supporting assumptions, and strong partnerships across IT and finance organizations for successful execution.
• Drive key metrics and analytics that will allow the leadership team to clearly understand outcomes achieved and provide insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
• Develop a high quality infrastructure of quantitative (including statistical) analysis tools and data, which will enable consistent, timely and efficient analysis of strategic issues.
• Establish costing models for Intuits hosting operations and communicate adjustments to business partners
• Reporting and forecasting of division-level results, combined with analyses and presentations.
• Define and execute on various ad-hoc projects such as procurement analytics, telecom spend, etc.
• Handle multiple high visibility, time sensitive projects at once
independently and working with management, identify critical strategic issues.
Qualifications: Candidates should have five or more years of relevant professional experience, which may have been obtained in corporate finance, or at a top-tier investment bank or management consultancy. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical skills, the ability to translate data and analysis into practical, actionable recommendations, and a track record of working effectively with senior level business leaders.
• Demonstrated track record of executing analytical projects dealing with issues of corporate finance and functional business strategy
• Ability to influence business priorities within finance and other senior level business leaders.
• Exceptional track record of self-motivation, independent thinking, problem solving, and continuous process improvement.
• Strong written and oral communication skills that enables clear and concise communication to all levels of management.
• Proactively manage operating expenses to meet established operating performance targets.
• Proven ability to prioritize effectively, achieve commitments and deliver results.
• Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications; experience with Hyperion EssBase, Business Objects, and/or Oracle a plus.
• Possess strong personal responsibility, initiative, and integrity.
• BS degree required, MBA preferred.
