RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and supervise annual audit for all activities in North and South America; average of 3-4 separate audits per year.


• Travel up to 50%- Essential due to our client’s presence across The Americas.


• Spearhead Operational Audits encompassing wholesale and retail, customer services, credit & collections, purchasing & sourcing, warehousing & inventory management, accounting, HR & payroll, and IT.


• Evaluate governance practices including authorizations, management reviews, policies & procedures, compliance with IFRS accounting standards and planning & reporting procedures.


• Supervise 1 to 2 audit staff in the execution of audit responsibilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

•   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance


•   Qualified Chartered Accountant or international equivalent (CPA, CA, etc.)


•  Minimum of 8 years external and / or internal audit experience


•  Previous working experience in Big 4 external audit environment a plus
