Internal Audit Manager

Exciting opportunity to work for a well respected Atlanta based firm as an Internal Audit Manager. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working independently and is appreciated as a business advisor.

Specific responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Offer expertise, advice and counsel based on advanced audit experience.


• Opportunity to exercise professional business judgment and provide valuable business advice to executive leadership.


• Provide leadership for audit projects and staff activities.


• Function in high profile capacity, identifying emerging risks and approaches for prevention.


• Interact with external consultants.


• Define audit scope, develop audit programs, and execute review and test procedures.


• Approximately 20% to 30% travel required.
  
  
  
  Qualified candidates should posses the following:
  
  


•  Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA is strongly preferred.


•  5 to 10 years expertise in a combination of Audit or Audit and other accounting related roles.


• Big 4 experience is a plus.


• Strong analytical skills and project management experience.


• Ability to work independently and set and achieves project goals.
