Plant Controller

The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Controller / Finance Manager for a Large Consumer Goods Manufacturing Facility located in Cincinnati, OH. 

Position Summary:

The incumbent will develop and maintain accurate product costs in accordance with company costing policies. This includes providing costs and analyses for new products, auditing and maintaining accurate costs within the cost system, providing appropriate cost and variance forecasts, and insuring that product cost changes are effectively communicated. 

Responsibilities: 

Maintain accurate inventory and other balance sheet accounts, charging costs to the general ledger in accordance with the corporate chart of accounts and determining appropriate accruals. Work closely with the Home Office and Plant Teams to provide appropriate explanations for fiscal results. 
Maintain a strong system of internal controls which will insure the safeguarding of assets, compliance with GAAP and regulatory agency requirements. 
Provide appropriate financial and operational measurement and analysis as required to aid in reducing waste and increasing productivity. 
Responsible for the plant capital budgeting process which includes providing analysis for new expenditures and accurate recording of fixed assets. 
Active participant of the plant leadership team. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

 
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 
5-10 years in a Controller and/or Plant Finance Manager level position within a Manufacturing Facility. 
Manufacturing and/or Consumer Goods/Food Industry experience is required. 
Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA or CMA designation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified Candidates for the Controller position MUST HAVE a 4-Year BS/BA Degree with at least 5-10 years of current/previous Controller or Plant Finance Manager level experience from within a Manufacturing Facility. Candidates with a Food/Beverage/CPG Manufacturing Background are highly preferred, however this is NOT a requirement. Qualified Candidates should send a Word and/or Adobe attachment copy of their resume.
