SEC Reporting Manager

Creative Financial Staffing has teamed up with an international leader in the bioscience research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing industries to identify an SEC Reporting Manager. About the Role:
- Lead the preparation of the 10K and 10K (as well as other external reporting statements as needed), including the implementation of new SEC filing requirements and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the global finance team, business units, legal department and investor relations functions to the external reporting process
- Perform research in technical accounting and financial reporting matters
- Assist with writing, implementing and maintaining corporate accounting policies and procedures. Coordinate with global finance organization to ensure consistent and accurate implementation of accounting policies, particularly for complex US GAAP matters
- Coordinate and facilitate the work of external auditors
- Ensure SOX 404 compliance over the financial closing and reporting processes

Qualifications
- CPA with five to eight years of experience in auditing and preparing S-X financial
- Experience with Big Four accounting firms is strongly preferred;
- Expertise in US GAAP, SEC and SOX requirements relevant to global manufacturing and high tech companies;
