Accounting Manager - Benefits

This position is responsible for managing the financial accounting, funding and disbursements for employee benefit plans. This includes managing and analyzing all financial transactions (funding and disbursements) for a health and welfare benefit trust, health and welfare benefit plans, and a benefit master trust with contribution plans. Compliance with GAAP, IFRS, DOL and IRS rules and regulations is also part of this function.

Requirements:

Accounting or Finance degree
Min. 8 years benefit accounting experience for a large company.
Knowledge of governments regulations and reporting requirements for benefit plans.
Big 4 experience preferred.
Audit experience of benefits plans preferred.
Ability to interact with upper level management.
Strong presentations skills.
