Job Description:
Must haves: CPA, current public accounting experience….local candidates only, no relocation Comp up to $125K We are currently seeking to hire Government Audit Managers who have at least 7 years recent experience working as an auditor in a public accounting firm. As an auditor, you will work closely with principals, managers, staff, and clients to facilitate the completion of audit engagements. Responsibilities include: • Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements. • Attract, develop and retain top talent. • Keep lines of communication open with staff and clients. • Manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction. • Anticipate and address client concerns and solve problems as they arise. • Keep abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm’s standards and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have:
Qualifications: • 7 -15 years experience. • A successful record of directing and deploying staff and seniors on multiple, simultaneous engagements. • Experience in communicating with clients’ senior management. • Technically proficient in audit and accounting. • CPA certification. • In the governmental audit area, you will have the opportunity to work with townships, school districts, counties, cities, and not-for-profit organizations.
