Our client is a major Global Investment Bank. Job description :
JOB PURPOSE" To independently produce high quality credit analysis of customers from Commodity Finance." To maintain customer contact for obtaining credit related information and ongoing monitoring of credit." To work closely with the relationship management team for each transaction and make a complete assessment of the associated risk." To act as a Portfolio Manager with responsibility for the continuous monitoring of credit risk, as well as the timeliness and quality of all credit applications pertaining to individual portfolio.. KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES" Prepares financial statement spreads and written credit analyses for existing and prospective customers at the request of assigned relationship managers; " Prepares credit renewals, recommends amendments and generally ensures that assigned portfolios are in compliance with regulatory requirements; " Performs industry peer comparison on a variety of operational and financial indicators; Who we are looking for :
SELECTION CRITERIA:" Bachelors Degree required" 3 or more years experience in finance area of a bank. " International banking background preferred, however exceptional candidates from commodity trading companies can also be considered. " Thorough knowledge of bank products, especially trade finance products and commodity industry, and an understanding of the risk management process in the commodity industry required. " Solid credit skills and thorough understanding of general economic theory as it relates to banking and the business environment. " Ability to obtain and use market information in loan applications such as country and company ratings from leading rating agencies. " Good PC skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint and cash flow simulation techniques). " Strong communication and technical reporting skills. " Candidates must also be results oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have an ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines. Whats on offer :
