JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description: The Head of Valuation Control is responsible for reviewing and identifying the key valuation risks across the Securities Businesses globally. This individual needs to work closely with the line Product Controllers to design and implement valuation policies and procedures effectively, to consolidate and escalate key valuation issues to senior management team, to identify key valuation gaps as well as to provide quality control over Product Control’s price testing process. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Seasoned valuation risk professional with 15+ years Wall Street experience. An ideal candidate shall have an in-depth working knowledge of valuation policies and procedures. A successful candidate may have extensive Product Control or Valuation Risk working experiences. This individual shall have strong analytical skills with solid business knowledge. We are looking for a detail oriented, hands-on individual who can identify and mitigate valuation issues effectively. Education Background: BS/MS degree in Finance or related field is essential along with strong analytical skills. Besides a good understanding of financial products and principles of asset pricing, good oral and written communication skills are required.
