Treasury Finance Position

The Treasury Finance group provides accounting, reporting, and other support functions for Treasury. 

The Treasury department significantly expanded its functions and capabilities over the last year. Some of the group’s accomplishments include its first ever debt IPO, interest rate hedging, and creation of an investment portfolio. The group strives to continually seek new strategies for the firm.

The candidate we are seeking would assist in the accounting and reporting for all of Treasury’s activities.  This includes accounting and reporting on the newly issued bonds, FAS 133 hedge accounting on interest rate/fx swaps, MTM on our investment portfolio and monitoring and hedging foreign exchange exposures.  We plan on rolling out a new Treasury management System in the next 12-18 months so the individual would be integral in the accounting/GL interface and report build out phases of that project.  The candidate would also be integral in substantiating valuations on a variety of investment products and would be required to produce several reports on such products/strategies. 

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years experience preferably in financial services or public accounting


• Strong accounting background


• Strong analytical skills


• Prior experience in derivative and/or MTM accounting/valuations


• Highly proficient in Microsoft excel and access


• Quick learner and able to quickly turnaround requests


• Eagerness to learn
