Reimbursement Manager
   
Be part of an exciting opportunity to launch an innovative technology in the US. My client will be introducing a high-tech medical device diagnostic product to the US market and is seeking a Reimbursement Manager with a desire to assist in building its US operations.


 


 


 


The Reimbursement Manager will be responsible for reimbursement claims support of customers (PCP’s, Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists, Labs, etc) in the existing and future products areas. Under the direction of the National Sales Manager, will perform support of reimbursement claims of products in the USA as follows: 


 


 


 


- Plan and implement a road map to increase payment in low reimbursement Private Insurers.
- Plan & perform training courses for Distributors/Reps, PCP’s and Office Administrators on reimbursement claims for Client’s products.
- Build relationships with Insurers to support sales of products.
- Able to manage an outsourced service to support claims filing and rejections management.
- Complete daily/weekly and monthly activity reports as prescribed by management.
- Deliver weekly, monthly and annual reports to senior management.
- Complete weekly/monthly expense reports and comply with associated guidelines.
- Interact with cross-functional departments in the company
- Interact with external contacts including National Distributors organizations & their sales people, Manufacturer Representatives, Physicians (target market), professional societies, and others.
- Compliant to prevailing ISO and FDA standards.
- Interact with company’s HQ in Israel.


 


 


 


Candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with a minimum of 3-5 years experience with Medical Devices and/or Pharma products reimbursement.  Experience in the breath tests or diagnostic product field is highly desirable. Experience with “Out of US” corporate HQ an advantage.


 


 


 


Candidates will have excellent communication/interpersonal skills including professional writing and phone conversation skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Must be detailed oriented, be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be a team player. English language as mother tongue, additional languages a plus.


 


 


 


Position will be an office environment (possibly virtual) and ability to travel by air and road quite frequently to the target markets. Position ideally located in the Northeast  (MA, NH and NY preferred).
