JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Role:
Provide full financial management support, including cost estimation, analytical support for the formulation and execution of budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation for Special Operations Command. Handle Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions and develop, formulate, and revise program budget requests. Use automated scheduling and cost tracking software to support critical path and integrated master planning analysis. Perform economic analyses for evaluating the total cost and marginal costs of alternative ways to accomplish strategic business functions. Assist with performing OMB Circular 76 comparative cost studies to determine whether specified operations should be outsourced. Formulate life-cycle cost-benefit analyses based on financial concepts, including net present value, return on investment, discounting, and inflation and apply economic analysis, learning curves, parametric pricing, and computerized cost modeling. This position is located in Tampa, FL.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -7+ years of experience with financial management or economic analysis providing full financial management support, including cost estimation, analytical support for the formulation and execution of budgets, manpower planning, and resource allocation -Experience with service unique tools, policies, procedures, and documentation, including PPBS, CPR, CSSR, CFSR, C/SCSC, PMD, POMP, SAR, DAES, DoDD 5000.1 and 5000.2, and DoDM 5000 -Experience with supporting DoD and USSOCOM acquisition programs -Experience with handling Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions -Experience with developing, formulating, and revising program budget requests -Experience with automated scheduling and cost tracking software to support critical path and integrated master planning analysis -Experience with Microsoft Office -TS/SCI clearance -BA or BS degree in Business or Accounting -DAWIA Acquisition Level II Certification Additional Qualifications: -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
