Global Wealth Management (GWM) provides advice-based wealth management services and products to individual clients and businesses. The GWM business model is based on our network of more than 15,000 financial advisors (FAs) in nearly 700 offices around the world and the one-to-one relationships they develop with their clients.

Every aspect of a clients financial life is considered, enabling financial advisors to become essential partners to their clients and provide customized financial planning and wealth management advice, products and services.

GWM serves the myriad needs of high-net-worth individuals and small- and mid-sized business owners. Nearly two-thirds of assets under management come from relationships with clients who have investable assets of $1 million or more. We also serve thousands of individuals through employee retirement plans.

The Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG) provides tailored solutions to meet the sophisticated needs of ultra high net worth individuals. Serving only a select group of clients whose needs and values are at the center of our dedicated focus, we offer both the intimacy of a boutique and the global resources of one of the world’s largest financial services firms. Clients are served by over 125 Private Wealth Advisor (PWA) teams across the country, along a team of experts in areas such as investment management, concentrated stock management and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies




Brief Description





The Business Analyst function within the Private Banking and Investment Group is responsible for a wide-array of activities, including developing financial metrics to support the business analytics function, analyzes potential impact of compensation programs, prepare reports to support compensation programs, structure recruiting deals and analyze economic impact, develop and prepare management reports, support creation of financial metrics, business strategy and other administrative items.  Work closely with PBIG field management (Business Managers, Administrative Managers and Client Relationship Managers) to address pressing issues.


Job Responsibilities





  • Prepare financial metrics for Business Analytics function- analyzing the product and service profiles of Advisors and clients, to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Structure recruiting deals for competitive hires
  • Provide analytical support and develop reporting for all PBIG compensation programs and initiatives (including Focus on Growth and PWA Small Household Policy)
  • Prepare business reports  and financial metrics to support field and home office management
  • Help to support strategic initiatives of the Group
  • Assist field management in addressing administrative issues



Qualifications





  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or economics
  • Advanced degrees helpful (analytical and / or managerial)
  • Analytical background.  Experience working with ML and other business areas (marketing, administration, Advisory, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with advisors and field management.  Proficient in suite of MS Applications
  • Series 7 and 66 recommended
