Controller - North American Division

JOB DESCRIPTION:   

Oversee:

• Accounts Payable Management




• Payroll Management




• Fixed Asset Management




• Tax  Management (Federal, State, Sales)




• Benefits Management




• Account reconciliations and consolidations, including foreign subsidiaries




• Account reconciliations prepared by General Accounting




• Special projects as required




• North American financial operations

       Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-to-date:

• Cash flow




• Balance sheets 

Requirements:

• BBA Accounting




• Strong equipment manufacturing background




• CPA a plus




• At least 8 years of experience as a Controller, international experience a plus




• Strong knowledge in US GAAP& IFRS




• Experience with payroll and benefits management




• Experience with fixed asset management




• Experience with federal and state tax management




• ERP systems knowledge




• EXCEL proficiency




• CRYSTAL Reports knowledge a plus




• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, financial reports, legal documents, and governmental regulations.




• Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies and to present information to management




• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to produce required financial data and reports
