VP Product Control FX

Leading Global Investment Banking Co. seeks a Product Controller for FX with 8-10 yrs experience, to manage part of the FX Emerging Markets team in NY.  Great opportunity in a growing team for a highly motivated individual.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage & review Daily P&L/P&L attribution for all FX trading strategies
• Manage & review daily commentary on P&L movements, including analyzing p&l attribution and ensuring key drivers are in line with expectations given risk the business is running.
• Oversee and review the month-end p&l closeout process, reviewing reconciliations completed by staff.
• Oversee balance sheet substantiation for all strategies
• Deal with Accounting Policy issues, including but not limited to any issues with respect to FIN45, FAS157, and FIN46/FAS140.
• Manage a staff of 3-4 controllers producing daily P&L; Global interaction with team in London/Asia offices.
• Daily interaction with trading desk, IT, Market Risk, Operations, and other key finance groups  
• Ad hoc projects will be assigned which will involve discussion with the traders, market risk, IT, etc e.g., new systems functionality testing, VaR backtesting, improving attribution.
Skills Required
-Minimum 5 yrs FX, or fixed income and derivative product control experience
-Accounting/Finance degree preferred
