Senior Vice President of Tax

Industry leading, multi billion dollar organization in the financial services industry headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Our client is going through an IPO in the first part of 2010 and is looking for

a senior level,  strategic tax professional to build and lead the tax department through this transition and beyond.

This individual should have a strong understanding of corporate tax, multi-state tax compliance, and have strong business acumen in order to work with the executive leadership team on the companies’ overall tax strategy.

Will relocate from anywhere.

Must haves:

• At least 12 + years of overall tax experience


• CPA required


• Public accounting experience (Big 4) strongly preferred


• Financial Services or Insurance (Life insurance) preferred


• FAS 109 expertise


• Heavy experience in developing tax strategy while also leading compliance in a multi-state, multi – legal entity environment


• Team management experience
