Director of Financial Reporting

Oil and Gas/Exploration and Production company located in Downtown Houston is in need of a Director of Financial Reporting. 

MUST HAVE E&P EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED!!!

 8-10+ plus years of financial reporting experience with both public and E&P industry experience. A CPA and at least 5 years of management experience is required.  Must be able to provide financial and analytical information to support monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes to management, Board of Directors, the SEC and shareholders. Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures in accordance to GAAP and SEC guidelines. Coordinate and assist in preparation of the MD&A and finance related sections of external financial reports and filings with the SEC. Work with the external auditors during quarterly and annual audits. THERE IS NO RELO ASSISTANCE FOR THIS POSITION.
