Vice President Product Control / FAS 157

Responsibility for FAS 157 disclosures is being transferred to the Product control team. This new role will reside in Product Control and be responsible for handling and coordinating all FAS 157 related work for the U.S with the purpose of ensuring proper disclosure.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensuring FAS 157-4 disclosures are accurately reflected for U.S entities.
• Acting as liasion for product control within the firm regarding accounting policy and governance.
• Ensure proper integration of accounting policy changes into Product control processes.
• Assist the Product control team with monthly balance sheet attestion program.
• Assist in the due diligence and implementation new products and businesses in NY.

Candidate Background:

Seasoned professional  w/ 10 plus years of experience in  Capital Markets product control environments with excellent technical understanding of capital market products.

BA in Accounting or Finance field.

In-depth knowledge of accounting pronouncements FAS 157-4, FAS 115, FIN 46, FAS 133.
