Tatum’s MidAtlantic practice is seeking to add several DC metro based Partners with 5+ years of GovCon CFO experience. Our Partners are CFOs who want to leverage their experience within a variety of high-level engagements, exercise greater control over their careers, and be mentored by fellow Tatum CFO. Our Partners provide hands-on permanent, interim and project-based services on behalf of Tatum throughout the region.  Joining Tatum’s Mid-Atlantic practice gives you the opportunity to represent one of the Firm’s top-focus offices while working in the Government Contracting and Not-for-Profit sectors. Tatum’s team environment has made it possible for the Mid-Atlantic office to currently run at a 70% utilization rate and bill the highest rates in the country. Looking for an opportunity to become a CFO? Tatum partners have the option to become a permanent C-Level officer at a client site. This year 15% of our CFOs have taken advantage of this opportunity.

A successful Tatum CFO Partner candidate will typically possess many or most of the following:

• 15–30 years of successful financial management experience
  
  


• Minimum of 5-10 years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a company with at least $50 million in revenue (higher revenue company experience is preferred)
  
  


• CFO experience for multiple companies highly desirable. Financial leadership with government contracting experience strongly preferred. Also seeking CFOs with public company and strong public reporting experience.
  
  


• CPA/MBA/CMA highly desirable
  
  


• Public accounting and financial consulting experience highly desirable
  
  


• Significant experience in raising capital, both debt and equity
  
  


• Experience as negotiator and financial leader
  
  


• IPO and secondary fund raising experience highly desirable
  
  


• Demonstrated ability to handle significant growth and downsizing
  
  


• Desire to work in a partnership environment and assist in the development of clients for the partnership and willingness and ability to market Tatum’s services
  
  


• Outstanding references from prior employers, as well as service providers such as CPAs, lawyers, investment bankers, venture capital firms, private equity firms, commercial bankers and others.
  
  


• Strategic thinker with operational experience
  
  


• Treasury experience
  
  


• Ability to roll up sleeves when warranted – “Hands on” Executive
