Financial Reporting Supervisor

Managing Financial Reporting across several disciplines including Hedge Funds, Partnership Accounting, Fund Accounting,. Treasury, Shareholder and Tax
- Managing and supervising staff and their assignments to ensure timeliness of deliverables and client SLAs
- Hold primary responsibility for oversight of the partner allocation, capital statement reporting and share class/series NAV calculations
- Interface with clients to answer adhoc financial and tax questions and assist with any issues as they arise
- Calculation and Review of Performance/Incentive Fees
- Calculation and Review of Management Fees
- Allocation of Fund expenses and fees to appropriate partners/investors
- Ensure Financial Statements are prepared in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS
- Oversee partner allocation and capital statement reporting process
- Establish and Monitor accounting policies, operational procedures and internal controls
- Assist with year-end audits
- Assist with system enhancements
- Setting goals and expectations for staff and conducting annual reviews

Qualifications:
- Public Accounting Experience out of Hedge Fund Practice Group and/or CPA

Required:
- Strong knowledge of Alternative Investment Fund Structures
- Experience in Hedge Fund Partnership and Tax Accounting
- Knowledge of complex financial instruments
- Ability to read, understand and follow complex partnership agreements and offering materials
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience
