Responsibilities: Prepare and review annual, semi-annual and quarterly financial statements as required Write financial statement footnote disclosure as required by the financial reporting standards of the fund Perform analysis of the financial statements to verify accuracy to accounting record Coordinate year end audit and all interim audit requirements Review and implement all key accounting standards Obtain working knowledge of the proprietary systems Research and provide technical accounting guidance on all new accounting standards Lead projects that will improve the firms financial reporting process and accounting process Present to or exchange information internally, with clients and outside auditors Relay to, and gather routine information from employees and/or outside offices, and clients Ensure quality. Errors have significant impact and may result in expenditure of additional time, resources and funds and impact the offices ability to achieve objectives Identify errors or problems and independently investigate; recommend solutions to team members or supervisors Who we are looking for :
This role is ideal for an acting senior manager or senior manage from a public accounting firm. Must have experience in accounting policy CPA Big 4 experience 7+ years of public and / or private accounting experience Strong technical accounting knowledge Project management experience or strong supervisory experience Experienced with financial statement preparation and consolidation process Experience working with external accountants and the annual audit process Candidate must have the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced and demanding environment. Strong communication skills, written and verbal Whats on offer :
A very generous base salary beginning at $120,000 and discretionary bonus.
