Tax Controller

Energy Services – Tax Controller will be responsible for all U.S. and state tax reporting and compliance for Energy Services. In this role you will be coordinating Energy Services submissions for the  consolidated tax return and  consolidated financial statements. Essential Responsibilities]

• Lead review of and implementation of tax accounting methods


• Lead U.S. Federal and state income tax reporting and compliance efforts


• Work with tax and finance employees to document and support all significant financial reporting positions taken with respect to income tax accounts (including effective tax rate reconciliations), examine and evaluate all deferred tax balances, reconcile income tax returns to ledgers, settle quarterly / annual taxes from  Corporate and perform or monitor reconciliations of SFAS109 income tax accounts (U.S. and foreign) in accordance with  account reconciliation policy


• Respond to local country and US tax audit requests


• Prepare quarterly cash tax forecast with support from Energy Services Finance Team, including foreign tax credit capacity planning and forecasting


• Lead and support accounting / tax projects


• Review Intercompany transactions, including transfer pricing strategies and documentation as well as internal business reorganizations


• Support tax accounting implications of global expansion of Energy Services business, including purchase accounting review and integration efforts Qualifications/Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university ·  At least 7 additional years tax experience


• Minimum 4 years experience in Tax Accounting and FAS 109Additional Eligibility Qualifications will only employ those who are legally authorized to work. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.Desired Characteristics
