Job Description:

Senior leader in Correspondent Lending West Operations, overseeing production operation teams responsible for the funding of high quality mortgage loans purchased from our clients.



Primary Responsibilities/Activities:

Proactive and relentless pursuit of loan quality, client service and high productivity

Review team managers and associate performance, identifying trends and areas of opportunity

Oversees the recruiting, hiring and training to volume and business needs

Accountable for meeting/exceeding monthly goals for shareholder, clients and associates (i.e. volumes, fundings, associate development, risk controls, turn time etc.)

Leads initiatives involving GEMS and other technology systems to continue to adapt to changing business environment, products, compliance and regulatory environment

Leader for Manufacturing Loan Quality, Risk Management and Compliance issues

Oversees and responsible for team for productivity and capacity management

Able to leverage resources across teams to achieve maximum efficiencies in funding loans

Performs in-depth analytics to solve process flow problems

Enjoys working in a fast-paced, volatile business environment managing wide swings in volume, staffing and fundings

Basic understanding of system logic to be able to pursue automation and system solutions to business flow problems.

Proactively identifies and plans for monthly volumes and staffing requirements

Leverage corporate and division resources to problem solve with the end goal of funding high quality loans.

Identify and address gaps in process the create systemic risk.


  Qualifications

Required Skills:

A true business leader, with a proven track record of running a significant business or business process, with the ability to balance and make decisions in the best interests of our clients, shareholders and associates

15 years plus financial service/mortgage industry experience, 3-5 years in senior management positions

Significant client focus demonstrated in previous roles and achievements

Experience managing up to 100 plus associates

Solid knowledge/background in underwriting and compliance

Excellent people, communications and organizational skills.

Strong leadership and implementation skills; an individual who can lead a diverse matrix, associate population, inspire a strong sense of camaraderie,

accountability, and motivate continuous improvements to performance.

Credibility to influence associates, peers and other stakeholders

Able to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across the organization in order to achieve results.

Six Sigma Certified a benefit (Green/Black belt).

Able to lead change and integrate work across the delivery channels and customer segments in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Demonstrates a business perspective that is much broader than one function or unit.

Champions and leverages six sigma tools (or other continuous improvement methodology) to drive revenue, reduce costs and add value.

Drives collaboration among individual groups.

Track record of success in change management and process improvement

Undergraduate degree

Must be collegial and a supportive team player to balance work load across multiple sites.

Basic understanding of system logic to be able to pursue automation and system solutions to business flow problems.

Proficient in Operations with a good understanding of credit risk and compliance.
