Tax Manager

Ajilon Solutions is currently looking for a Tax Manager for a contract to hire opportunity to be accountable for effectively managing the preparation and review functions in support of the Company’s various income and non income tax reporting and filing obligations (e.g. tax returns, 10K/Qs), and collaborating with the Accounting and Finance management team to improve processes and controls in support of the tax function.

The Tax Manager must be fully comfortable functioning as a manager and down in the detail in both a macro and micro role. Essential functions include performing preparation and review of:

- Income tax provisions and SEC footnote disclosure.

- Federal, State, and local tax filings

- Tax depreciation computations

-Estimated tax payment computations

-Payroll deposits, information returns, property tax, transaction tax, and regulatory agency filings.

Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business

-CPA or MBT preferred

-10+ years experience in complex corporate tax and accounting work, including strong FAS109 skills.

-Utility experience preferred.

-Five years of supervisory experience in Tax and Accounting.

Salary High: $140,000.00
