The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounting application, financial reporting, budgets, forecasting and tax; and will assist in developing policies and procedures. They will interview, hire, train and develop (cross-train) assigned staff; and plan, assign, and direct the work of individuals within the reporting function. A Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA license, and 5+ years experience in accounting finance, tax and budgeting are required. Also essential to this role is experience in SEC reporting; strong knowledge of GAAP with a demonstrated ability to implement new accounting pronouncements; excellent oral and written communication skills; demonstrated leadership ability; strong, well-developed interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; functional knowledge of budgeting and expense control; and proficiency in Windows-based PC systems and the Microsoft suite of products. Knowledge of banking and regulations is desirable
