Senior Financial Analyst

The Company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work in our midtown Manhattan corporate office.  This position will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for reporting, analyzing and forecasting of revenue, expenses, and costs. The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the CFO in analysis of key business performance metrics and will participate in the development of various business model scenarios. 

Responsibilities:

• Financial model and scenario planning


• Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results, including analysis of actual vs. budget, monthly trends, and other expense drivers


• Assist with monthly close responsibilities


• Produce monthly reporting of expense and business templates to various groups


• Assist with ad-hoc projects for senior management and the Board of Directors, including presentations and key analysis

Requirements:

• MBA/B.S. in Finance, Accounting or equivalent,


• 3+ years of financial analysis experience from a Fortune 500 or high growth firm. Experience with the media/Internet company preferred


• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts


• Extensive knowledge required for running relevant reports, Excel and PowerPoint 


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task with limited supervision


• Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues
