Exceptional Senior Manager of FP&A opportunity with an award winning, innovative and entrepreneurial software company recently completing a record sales fiscal year in 2009. The Manager of FP&A to serve as a business partner to the executive management team while helping to drive the Company’s financial vision, direction, and guidance.
The candidate will drive the financial reporting, performance/business analysis of the US business.  This will involve evaluating all procedures and processes for efficiency and effectiveness, and adherence to US GAAP and IFRS.  They must be able to effectively communicate analysis and strategies to the senior levels of management, in both written and verbal formats, in both formal and informal occasions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
•     Work with multiple business units to communicate metrics, as well as assist in the creation and deployment of strategies to leverage those metrics
•    Create and maintain business unit processes and data in order to provide business unit financial data and metrics as required throughout the year
•    Streamline and simplify operations and processes to drive desired corporate behavior
•    Provide company wide reference and training to policies and procedures
•    Provide support for Sales in contract review, pricing and deal strategies, and customer negotiations
•    Communicate business/financial information and concepts to non-Finance business groups
•    Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to US Accounting, relative to revenue recognition
•    Participate in systems implementations from an accounting and financial perspective including Reporting and Financial Management systems
•    Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Business/Finance
•    MBA preferred (CPA or some public accounting background a plus)
•    Base of career experience ranging from five to ten years
•    Foreign currency translation experience
•    Working knowledge (or better) of Software Revenue Recognition under both US GAAP and IFRS
•    Experience working with cash flow forecasts, financial forecasts, and budgets across multiple currencies
•    Demonstrated track record with relevant experience of financial reporting and business reporting
•    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and indirectly manage staff outside of the US
•    Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of other Microsoft applications such as Access, Word and PowerPoint required
